Oh, my little child I hate to go
Forgive Mum I need to leave you
Promise to keep in touch
As you grow
My lovely child Am missing you
Time flies, years had passed
I can’t help my tears
But missed your hugs
My dearest child I apologize
We’ve been apart and
I’ve been stranger in your heart
Even if your words slashes
My heart and deep within me
Hated me a million times
I will always love you and
Cherish you no matter what
Forgive Mum I need to leave you
Promise to keep in touch
As you grow
My lovely child Am missing you
Time flies, years had passed
I can’t help my tears
But missed your hugs
My dearest child I apologize
We’ve been apart and
I’ve been stranger in your heart
Even if your words slashes
My heart and deep within me
Hated me a million times
I will always love you and
Cherish you no matter what
My poem is about a mum, leaving her one and only 1 year old baby for working as a domestic helper abroad, She is sorry for leaving her baby at that early age, to earn a living and she had no choice.
