Getting Home from Day Off (Pagkauwi Galing Day Off)

By Charyne Grace A. Patun-og
I’ve been waiting for hours by the door near the trash bins because they won’t give me a key. It’s nearly 12 and they’re still not here. I’m being bitten by mosquitoes outside. When they arrive, I’ll still have to take care of the twins, then maybe I can rest. I want to quit because it’s tough working at my boss’s house, but I think about the hard journey to get to Hong Kong and that I need to finish my contract to find a new employer.
