Mother and Child

I’m Joselyn Bisquera from Philippines. A migrant domestic worker and 6 years working here at Hongkong. I’m not good in drawing but when I started to wrote a poem in 2023 I want that every poem that I wrote have image or photo and connected to it. The first poem was titled Ina (Mother) in english. As my Mom my inspiration in writing. I’m not a typical person that showy my emotion. True drawing and writing I expressed my feeling and emotion. Being away from family is been so hard. Specially I’m an only child even I don’t want to abroad but the income in Philippines can’t support the my family needs. Thanks to technology we can communicate to our family time to time true social media like in messenger, wattsapp,viber,email and many more. One of my coping homesickness to my family is drawing. Every drawing I filled with love and hoping someday that not only in the drawing I showed and express my love to my Mom but when I go home for good. My treasure, inspiration and strength.
