2020 was the hardest year of my life, starting by the loss of my mother, followed by a divorce in my marriage. I felt trapped in darkness and despair until I’ve decided to go to Hong Kong and I hoped to rediscover my lost self. Upon arriving in Hong Kong, the new atmosphere gave me a glimmer of hope. In between of my busy life as a domestic helper, I was determined to rise up again and find positive activities like taking various classes that would broaden my insight. My efforts have paid off; I have overcome my sadness and have found my zest for life again. My photography has attracted a wide audience, and I have the opportunity to participate in my first art exhibition during Indonesia Week in Hong Kong. This journey taught me that sadness can be a stepping stone to awakening. Now, I am stronger than before and ready to face new challenges with an unwavering spirit.

Naseha
Hello, My name is Naseha, an Indonesian migrant worker. 2020 was my toughest year that finally brought me to Hong Kong, a journey that was tiring and not easy in order to restore my damaged mentality. God brought me to Hong Kong and sent friends who gave me positive vibes and full support for my life and career, so that I can accept whatever is broken from my life. Thank you to God and all my friends 😊
