It’s been 8 years when I started my journey as a foreign domestic worker here in Hong Kong. The journey for me is not easy with this transitions I have chosen. From being a hands on mom and a day care teacher where I have all the respect gain from the community, I have suffered  criticism, verbal, physical (where most of the days I got a dog bite) and mental abuse. And despite all these things, I stay firm and determined to finish my contract for the sake of my goals and dreams for my 2 children–giving them a better education in order for them to have a better professional career and for greener pastures.
