What is anxiety?

Anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe. Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life. For example, you may feel worried and anxious about having a job interview or starting a new job.

Is anxiety all bad?

Within a controllable range, anxiety makes you aware of the danger, helps you calculate risks, and motivates you to stay organised and prepared. But when anxiety becomes a daily recurrence affects your normal life, it’s time to act before it snowballs. Try to talk to your trusted friends or support groups if anxiety is affecting your daily life or causing you distress.
