This painting depicts the struggle between identity and emotions that we often hide. With black and white, this work invites the viewer to reflect on the duality within humans, and how we interact with the outside world through the “masks” we wear.
In this life, it seems like someone has to pretend in some situations and places.
Even though you are aware that you are not being yourself.
This is the fact of the struggle to find your identity amidst the expectations and falsehoods of the world.
